TECHNICAL NOTE Suggestions for adding to our website, or for making it more user-friendly, are welcome - particularly constructive comments! The way the web pages appear on individual screens will depend on both your screen resolution and also on the web browser which you use. This website has been designed using a 1280 x 960 display. If your own screen resolution has a smaller setting (e.g. 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600), you may find the page easier to view if you adjust your screen resolution to a setting of 1280 x 960 or larger. This should prevent the print size from appearing too large and should allow the whole page to be viewed without the need to scroll horizontally. Settings can normally be adjusted by right-clicking on the desktop, clicking 'Properties', then 'Settings', then adjusting the slide bar. The appearance of these web pages will also differ according to which browser is being used. They have been tested, but not exhaustively, in MS Internet Explorer (the most commonly used browser), in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firebird, Opera, and in Safari. Each of these browsers will display the webpages slightly differently and there are likely to be some unintended consequences in whatever browser is used. TO AVOID ANY OVERLAPS OF TEXT AND IMAGES, OR THE POSSIBLE LINE-WRAP OF MENU ITEMS, YOU ARE ADVISED TO WORK WITH AS LARGE A SCREEN WINDOW AS POSSIBLE. Please let us know of any significant problems you may find with these browsers or with any others being used. If you notice any errors in the content or bugs in the operation of the website then please also let us know. We shall endeavour to keep the information on our website as up-to-date as possible, but there will from time-to-time be a delay in updating information. |
