Our 2011 FOURS DAY will be on Sunday August 7th - from 10 a.m.

NEW CLUB FUND-RAISING INITIATIVE . . . 1.

Help raise money for the club at no cost to yourself.

Every time you search for anything on the Internet, instead of going straight to Google, go to ... www.easysearch.org.uk (Just click on the Easysearch logo on the right, if you wish to go there now).

You will be asked 'Who do you wish to raise funds for?'.  Either click on 'W' and find 'Walton Bowling Club', or type in 'Walton Bowling Club'. (It's quicker to type the name) Then just search what you are looking for in the usual way.

EVERY SEARCH WILL GENERATE A SMALL CONTRIBUTION TO WALTON BOWLING CLUB - AT NO COST TO YOU.

A further way of using this same website to benefit the club and at no personal cost is outlined below . . .

OVER 2000 RETAILERS, INCLUDING M&S, BOOTS, ARGOS, AMAZON, PC WORLD, TOYS R US, VIKING, JOHN LEWIS and many more will give amounts between 2.5% and 5% to the club on orders placed with them through Easyfundraising.org.uk

The items purchased via them on the Internet are just the same price as going to the retailers site direct, but the discount is credited to the registered cause, which for us is, Walton on Thames Bowling Club.

SO NO EXTRA COST FOR YOU ON INTERNET PURCHASES, BUT INCOME FOR THE CLUB.

Anyone can enrol who wishes to support the club, so please include friends, family and neighbours if you wish.

FIRST YOU MUST REGISTER:  . . .
Go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk
(You can click on the site logo on the right or you can bookmark it to save time in the future).
CLICK on 'REGISTER' and complete the details - The Organisation to Support is - Walton on Thames Bowling Club.
Then complete YOUR NAME and E-MAIL ADDRESS.
The Password we are using is 'emlgrove01' (without the inverted commas).
Then you are ready to shop and make money for the club.

To do this, enter the Easysearch website, then enter your e-mail address and password, and click on the link to the retailer you want - say Amazon - and go straight into their site.
All products are the same price as going there direct, but the club benefits from the commission.

Just a small effort to set up, but good rewards for the club, and at no extra cost to the purchaser.

CLUB LIBRARY

DON'T FORGET . . . You can enjoy a good read by making use of our own Clubhouse Library. The library is stocked by DONATIONS from club members. We have a good range of books - hardback and paperback, factual and fiction - which can be BORROWED or BOUGHT.

CLUB COMPETITIONS 2009

The finals of all internal competitions were played over the weekend of 5th & 6th September. The results can be viewed in the clubhouse and on the 'COMPETITIONS' Page of this website. Formal presentation of trophies were made during the annual presentation lunch held at Burhill Golf Club on Thursday 19th November.
